  • Braised Chicken with Fava Bean Pesto

    Fava beans are in season and we're in love with their sweet and rich taste. They're extremely versatile and can be used in soups, purees, or in this wonderfully simple pesto. Also known as broad beans, favas are more well-known in Europe and across the Mediterranean, though they're starting to catch on in the States. They're typically a spring vegetable, but are harvested well into the summer in some places. chickenfavabeanpesto Here are some fava bean peeling tips: First, remove the seeds from the pods.
